M.H. Forke Lodge

Welcome to the M.H. Forke Lodge – one of the most unique event spaces in the Big Bend. This renovated camp canteen is filled to the brim with character and charm, making it the perfect backdrop for your special occasion. The Lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests and has a generous amount of outdoor space to extend the life of your party. From our spacious back porch to the separate deck overlooking the spring to the expansive green space for tents or outdoor activities, the sky is literally the limit.

From the moment you step in the Lodge at Sherlock Spring, you’ll understand why it stands out. Everything about the Lodge is unique. From the gorgeous wood grain that peeks through the shiplap walls, to the pine planked ceiling, the Lodge exudes Southern charm.

Enjoy our beautifully-lit live oak trees at your evening event or make memories under the stars around our outdoor firepit.  From cocktail hour on our expansive porch to greenways to extend your event, the Lodge at Sherlock Springs is perfect place to gather and celebrate any occasion.

Wedding Packages

We offer a variety of wedding packages to personalize your big day! We are here to assist you in every step of the way so your event is one you will cherish for a lifetime.

Let us make your special day a truly memorable experience! Enjoy having your family and friends watch you say ‘I do’ under majestic live oaks at the beautifully renovated Lodge or near the sparkling waters at the overlook at Sherlock Spring. Guests can enjoy cocktail hour on the welcoming front porch, or the overlook at the spring, while the newlyweds take photos with gorgeous backdrops.  The Lodge can accommodate up to 150 guests and is the perfect setting for your celebration.

Canna Lily

  • Enjoy the Lodge and use of our private bridal glam room from 8am through midnight
  • An Event Manager will work with the operations team to ensure the Lodge is set up to your exact specifications
  • Monday – Friday & Sunday Rate: $1,800
  • Saturday Rate: $2,300

Azalea

  • Private use of the Lodge and bridal glam room from 8am through midnight
  • Onsite Event Manager to ensure a seamless event from start to finish
  • Monday – Friday & Sunday Rate: $2,300
  • Saturday Rate: $2,800

Southern Magnolia

  • Private use of the Lodge and bridal glam room starting at 8am through midnight
  • Exclusive use of the 4-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow at the Equestrian Center from 8am until 11am the following day
  • Assigned Event Planner to coordinate all logistics and vendors as well as overseeing all set up and timeline details of your special day
  • Monday – Friday & Sunday Rate: $4,500
  • Saturday Rate: $5,000

Camelia

  • Private use of the Lodge and bridal glam room starting at 8am through midnight
  • Exclusive use of the 4-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow at the Equestrian Center from 8am through midnight
  • Assigned Event Planner to oversee all set up and timeline details of your special day
  • Monday – Friday & Sunday Rate: $3,000
  • Saturday Rate: $3,500

All packages include use of our in-house tables and chairs along with your choice of black or white table linens. If you would like specific items, we have a list of preferred vendors that we would be happy to connect you with!

Holiday Corporate Packages

‘Tis the season to come celebrate the holidays with us! Treat your employees to an afternoon or evening out of the office. We have decked the halls (or the Lodge in our case!) with all the magic the season has to offer.

Close down the office a little early…

  • Monday – Friday (Anytime between 11am – 4pm)
  • $500 for 2 hours
  • $100 for each additional hour
  • All tables, chairs and black and white linens are included in your rental
  • Holiday décor throughout the Lodge
  • Piped in holiday music
  • Bring in your own catering or have a fun potluck – we have a full catering kitchen for your use

Dress up a little bit after hours!

  • Monday – Friday evenings (5PM – 10PM)
  • $750 for three hours
  • $150 for each additional hour
  • Holiday décor throughout the Lodge
  • Piped in holiday music
  • Bring in your own catering or have a fun potluck – we have a full catering kitchen for your use
